This was from the common natural colour of untreated glass. The sand used to create this glass 2000 years ago no longer exists. Glass makers today cannot make a replica of this glass. This glass used in this cross pendant was found in an archaelogical dig in in Israel. It is set in sterling silver cross and has an 18 inch sterling silver chain. The cross is 1.75 inches long.
