This is a copy of the original Our Lady of Perpetual Help which has been in Rome since 1499. Mary is depicted wearing a dark red, which represents the passion of Jesus. On the left is the Archangel Michael, with the lance and sponge from the Crucifixation. On the right, Archangel Gabriel has a cross of nails from the Curcifixation. The Virgin Mary has three stars on her garment, one on each shoulder and one above her forehead.
