This Saint Francis Pewter medal is dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment.  He  was the founder of the Order of Friars Minor, also known as the Franciscans.  He died in 1226. 

This medal is made from pewter and was made in Italy.  The dimensions are 1 inch x3/4 inches and a 24 inch stainless steel chain is included.  The medal is in a small gift box.
