Scents of the Bible perfume offers three of the most widely referenced perfumes mentioned in the Bible.  Perfumes in biblical times were equal in worth to gold and silver.  From the Song of Solomon which mentions Spikenard and saffron, Frankincense and myrrh, to the gifts of the three wise men, Frankincense, and Myrrh, to the anointing of Jesus with the perfumed spikenard oil from an alabaster flask, perfumes are reserved in the Bible for important events.
