The Serenity Prayer is emblazoned upon this 10 inch high resin cross.  This prayer was written by Reinhold Neibuhr.  Reciting this prayer can bring us peace in times of trouble, despair and sorrow.  The words are

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.
