These small black shoulder bags, known as morrals in Spanish, are adorned with different designs. They all measure approximate 6 by 6.5 inches excluding the fringe on the bottom and have a strap that is approximately 40 inches long. Each bag is a unique work of art, made by a lady in a small village in Guatemala. Each bag was appropriated through Fair Trade Practices and Standards. All work was done by adults not children and the money was paid directly to the lady who made these lovely bags.
Some of these black bags have Christian symbols such as crosses or a communion cup, making them a wonderful gift for a young lady celebrating her First Communion or Confirmation. They are just the right size to hold a few things.
